About me
I am from a small town in North Dakota. I moved to Minnesota after graduating high school to attend college at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. After two years, I decided to take a break from academics and started a career in customer service. I was employed by Minnesota Telemarketing Incorporated, formerly known as Fingerhut. This is where I cultivated my customer service skills over the nearly seven years of employment with the company.
I had con decided to move on because of concerns about the direction of the company. I went to the Antioch Company where I was able to apply my customer service skills and to resume my educational pursuits. While employed under the Antioch Company, I achieved two AAS degrees: one in Network Support and one in Wide-Area Networking. Both these degrees were from Rasmussen College. I furthered my knowledge by studying and becoming certified as a Help Desk Analyst through the Help Desk Institute. I specialize in web design, computer software and database creation. I enjoy reading political satire, album making and photography.
